City of Lightby Brent_SComment by Brent_S: Thanks Techo :) I'm not at my archives to know for certain what time I took this, but twilight was well underway. I'd say the tower is well worth a visit for next time you are there, just wait for what looks like a promising sunset as I did.
I still have only maybe a dozen images processed from the trip :P Just been too busy, hope to get to them soon.
Glad you managed well enough with the weather you had in May. I could not believe my luck in April. It turned to summer the week I was there, and then apparently dipped back into winter the day after I left. |

City of Lightby Brent_SComment by Techo: Very nice! I was awaiting to view some of the pics you took :)
Afterall I didn't get a chance to go up Tower 56. Eh, till next time. I did really like Paris in the rain. It felt more like October than it did May for most of my time there. Wasn't expecting it getting dark that late either. About what time was this pic taken? Message edited by author 2013-06-06 12:25:30. |

ETA- Ah, I understand what you were asking now Alain :) No, this was my first time at this place so I moved about a bit. A time lapse series from day to night in the same position would have been very cool though! |
I would have been a nice one indeed!! Congrats on this submission!! very well done!!!! |

This was a single five second exposure, but I used a two stop hard graduated neutral density filter above the horizon to keep the highlights in the sky tamed. At this point it was just about time to switch to a one stop filter- if not sooner :P

Hope you had a nice trip! |
Thanks Oliver! You got the location exactly right ;) Yeah, was a good trip overall- except for the pick pocket getting my wallet part! :P Wish you and Christiane still lived relatively close to Paris, would love to have been able to meet up with you :) |
