Forbidding. Don't like the halo-ing effect around the top of the thing - if it's from burning or selection I'd have found a gentler feathering of it less 'processed'. Good textures lower down, composition fine. Too heavyweight for this challenge? We'll see what folks think - I suspect they're looking for stuff more like advertising than documentary.

I like the composition of this photo, but it's like the outline and the bright sunlit part of the church is overburnt. If this would be in a travelling book, the title "tower of terror" would fit better - the beautiful church looks a bit scary and spooky like this. Over all I think this is a good photo, good luck!

Hmmm... who do we know that lives in Iceland and loves to take pictures with clouds in the sky??? Great shot. Perhaps just a tad over sharpened (or burned) with the halo around the building, but otherwise very good. Good luck in the challenge!
