This has all the elements of a great High-Contrast Photo,...almost, as well as almost Hyper-Focal Distance, and eschatological encouragement on so many levels! Honestly, the "almost" is not a negative, but a real Plus that makes this photo similar IMHO to the Great Brush Artists of the early twentieth-century who consistently thought "outside of the box."

Was there any way you could have taken this from a little lower? The cliff looks so cool, but it would stand out more if the top of it fell into the sky instead of against the similarly toned hills in the background.
