This is a vintage tugboat - I don't know how old. The bumper on the bow does seem unusual - old truck tires being more the norm.

The two guys really fight for attention, pulling the eyes to each side simultaneously. And then there's that empty space in the middle that doesn't help to hold the eyes from wandering to the edges. Then there's the backhoe and the tiny operator which would normally be the main subject...they're barely part of the composition at all, but at the same time they complete a nice triangle with the other two players in this scene. All-in-all it's very quirky and full of tension. Fantastic job you've done here.

Sometimes it's the effort that should be applauded rather than the technique or artistic impression. This is a great effort showing a good eye for a detail that most would have overlooked or even ignored. While not a perfect duo-tone image, or even one that could be called "duo-tone", it's the eye and capture that is important here, not the technical or artistic scoring.
