This looks like a close cousin to my cloud corral shot! The power lines do work here, providing a strong diagonal element that connects the house tops to the rest of the image.

And not to rub it in, but that's what our skies have looked like all week :-)

power lines .. most ppl dont like them in a shot but sometimes they really work .. this is one of those times ..
they are the major player in your image .. the houses just peaking up .. nearly in homage .. am i reading too much into this photo ?!!
but it really works for me .. power to the houses .. they wouldnt exist without it ..

The lady in front is truly walking with purpose. It's raining and she just wants to get where she is going. Nice capture.
