Thanks Ursula. No, these are indoors and the Port Authority of NY probably wouldn't allow such addons anyway. However there is another outdoor grouping nearby at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, where winter accessories are permitted and often appear.

Interesting Theme choice :) I really like the b/w tones. The statues are great leading lines because they lead you into the photo to look around at all the real people.

I would agree on the overall composition and the importance of the "real" people. If anything, the distance between the statue and the people is a bit large.

I feel that the people are animportant part of the image, they lead the eye in and make sense of the statue group.

Interesting, I like the crop as is. The statues play an interesting role with the person standing with her back to us. As if they were waiting for her to make the next move. If anything, I might try to clone the person walking down the stairs. I like this photograph for capturing that moment that makes sense.

Have the same feeling, a crop just to get rid of the right half of the image (with the people in it). I like the B&W.
