Interesting Theme choice :) I really like the b/w tones. The statues are great leading lines because they lead you into the photo to look around at all the real people.

I would agree on the overall composition and the importance of the "real" people. If anything, the distance between the statue and the people is a bit large.

I feel that the people are animportant part of the image, they lead the eye in and make sense of the statue group.

Interesting, I like the crop as is. The statues play an interesting role with the person standing with her back to us. As if they were waiting for her to make the next move. If anything, I might try to clone the person walking down the stairs. I like this photograph for capturing that moment that makes sense.

Beautiful statue, I like the picture in B/W. I have a question: There's a similar statue in Freemont in Seattle, people waiting for the bus (sorta commuters). People dress up the statues as the seasons progress, put hats and mits on them, or purses, or flowers in their hands, or other such things. Does this happen here too?

Have the same feeling, a crop just to get rid of the right half of the image (with the people in it). I like the B&W.

A fantastic image in which the busy elements in the scene do not detract from the whole. The lack of colour helps the viewer to concentrate on the faces.

ok this is the first one that the thumbnail led me to open, so that's saying something, right? i like it, but i keep looking at the composition thinking a different crop might work better.
