If The boy was running frantically through the birds it would have more impact. Also if the child had a look of extreme joy it definitely would've gotten a higher vote from me, as is it looks a bit static. I nearly entered an image like this with a little girl but I thought the same Viewing it as I do with this one, it just Lacked oomph. Having said that it's not a bad image, voted earlier.
