Moon-Jupiter-Venusby turnofthesueComment by turnofthesue: The solar towercam on Mt. Wilson was facing south all evening on Monday, but I didn't get home until the moon had almost fully set. I bet the camera caught a neat progression of the moon & planets over the course of the evening though! |

Beckman Auditoriumby turnofthesueComment by xianart: this is a lovely image, but i'm afraid it's not really a high contrast image. high contrast has a limited tonal range of high and low tones, with very few intermediate tones. the ultimate high contrast is pure black and white, no greys. the more greys or intermediate tones, the less high contrast it is. |

The Eyes Have Itby turnofthesueComment by Penny Lane: Cute baby. The angle of the shot makes it feel like he is about to drop out of the bottom of the picture head first. If you have the chance to photograph him again, try getting down to his level (even if you have to lie on the floor) and shoot from there instead of from above, I think you will be happy with the results. :) |
