Allamanda Violaceaby LelezComment by tnun: Like what you did. (Don't know if you shot in macro, which nearly always chooses f2.8, but a smaller aperture might have given more definition to the nearer parts of the petals, still blurring the background. If that is what you want. I am only just beginning to try this with my Panny). |

Allamanda Violaceaby LelezComment by sfalice: You know it's fun to see these blossoms up close and "in your face" and you've done that here.
Yes, an f-stop of anything from (say) 2.8 to 5.6 would have blurred out the background, but what you have is totally fun.
Keep up the good seeing. |

Just a Street Doorby LelezComment by SoulMan1978: It's a nice scene, but the lighting is a little harsh (a bright day?) I'd perhaps have suggested shooting this on an overcast day or in late evening/early morning. However from my own experience time/weather don't always co-operate in the limited time we have available to shoot for these challenge so I won't mark too harshly.
I do like the blue/orange combination, but the lighting does wash these colours out a bit. Sorry. |

rose Alpinea - 2by LelezComment by drydoc: Yes. I do like this one more. The attention is definitely on the icy looking flowers. I am glad you shared it with everyone. |

Allamanda Violaceaby LelezComment by drydoc: Pretty flower. I would have like to have seen a deeper contrast between the background ant the flower. I think it would pump up the volume of the flower. imho |
