Like what you did. (Don't know if you shot in macro, which nearly always chooses f2.8, but a smaller aperture might have given more definition to the nearer parts of the petals, still blurring the background. If that is what you want. I am only just beginning to try this with my Panny). |

You know it's fun to see these blossoms up close and "in your face" and you've done that here.
Yes, an f-stop of anything from (say) 2.8 to 5.6 would have blurred out the background, but what you have is totally fun.

Pretty flower. I would have like to have seen a deeper contrast between the background ant the flower. I think it would pump up the volume of the flower. imho |
