Self Portrait #4by jillzComment by zeuszen: Unassuming, reasonable straigthforward approach, b & w the appropiate choice for this 'true' capture. The composition (emphasizing face and hand) is both simple and sensitive.

Nice B/W shot. It looks like you are laying down and the photo is turned 90 deg. I like the reflections in you eyes. I think more contrast (more shadows) might have drawn out more detail and therefore more interest in this photo, because it seems a little flat (I'm not sure that the right term). |

Unfurledby jillzComment by Kavey: Great colours - obvious I know but that rich blue really looks great against the green. I like the curved lines created by the main petal and the choice of shallow DOF too. I don't like that very dark stem at the left - though the pale green ones at different horizontal angles are pretty cool. |
