A good solid image that is properly framed and composed there appears to be a little less focused than it should be. The greens are properly controlled which is always a problem for digital cameras. A little wider look at this scene would have helped the focusing issue and/or a higher ISO with a wider aperature. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.

Very true title. I like the perspective and composition here, and it's got great detail on the building. Looks like a bit of a wider lens was used than the 18mm kit lens I have.

I'm going to hazard a guess, based on the subject and style, that this may be a Melethia entry.

great shot - good light in here and as your title implies - well composed for a dreary (shooting) day. Tricky shot to find the horizon in without tilting either the tree or the buildings, though I think you made the right choice. 8 from me.

After scoring and going through these pics I really like yours and have to bump it up a notch to 9. Don't know if a bit longer exposure(smaller Aperture or ND filter) would have made for an even nicer shot with the water in the lower pool glazing over.
