neat colors, not exactly what it is a picture of, but its very interesting. One problem I have with it is that it lacks a subject. It needs something to catch the viewers eye and keep it there. Just my opinion, hope these comments were helpful, sorry it took so long to get around to.

This would benefit from a much shallower dof, I think a big help for you would be to get a 50mm 1.8, just for standard portraiture. It is a cheap lens that really gets the job done. Still though a nice shot, and love the expression, nicely done.

My biggest suggestion for this shot would be taking out the little bush on the left side of the photo, and then maybe a little bit of brightening the image. Its a pretty scene, but there isn't a subject that really makes it stand out. It lacks something that my eye automatically goes to, still a nice shot though, keep it up.

neat shot, nice composition, the lighting looks a little bit harsh, I'm not sure if you bounced the flash, if not try bouncing it off a wall, to give it softer lighting, cool shot though, nicely done.
