I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives : It feels like I could walk into this scene, I can almost hear the hustle and bustle. I really like the emphasis you have placed on the signs and how their dominance and scale to the architecture. The high-contrst monochrome treatment works very well, as does the vignette.

Critical stuff: The buildings are so prominent here, the lens and perspective distortion is quite prominent.

Overall: A very engaging image.

Just a comment on your image seen that no one could bother and mark you with a low score i feel there isnt enough lighting for a start the composition i think could have been better the focus is pretty good i would have rotated the image either 90 degrees and have the leaf comming from another angle maybe use the rule of the third here i feel its too centre(sorry we spell different in australia..lol) hope these comments where helpful for your next marco shot ..Gord

At first I thought the crop was a bit narrow (viewed as a thumbnail) but once opened it works very well. I like this very much and couldn't suggested any changes that would improves this. Well done!
