Smilesby ScooterMcNuttyComment by geinafets: The light on her is very beautiful and I love the texture of the floor, but I'm distracted by the things in the background. |

Do we really have FREEDOM?by ScooterMcNuttyComment by zencow: I like it, but I'm into macro, bokeh, and abstracts. This should have scored at least a point higher (like the average commenter score). Someone else commented on cropping, but I wonder if that would loose some of the fence to convey your idea. Worth experimenting on to see what you can do with it and see what you like for yourself.

me1by ScooterMcNuttyComment by jdannels: Hi Sofia,
I hope you don't mind I played with your image a bit. I brightened it up using a levels and a curve in soft light mode and adjusted the opacity down a bit. I also used selective color and color balance on separate parts(hair and skin). I also copied the image and ran Luko USM technique on it and then erased out your skin and, half opacity on your hair and nose, but left your eyes sharp. One thing I did notice is that you are not using Save for the Web to save your web images. This image you uploaded is in Adobe1998 color space, while most browsers assume an image is in Srgb color space. This means that most likely this image does not look the same as how you intended in photoshop. Use Save for the web, it will get rid of the exif data and will allow you the greatest chance to get the most detail for the web. Atleast for challenges, in your portfolio there are no size restrictions. Also your eyes are amazing! I saved the .psd file if yuo would like to see it. If not, no big deal :)
