The Shadowby thelselComment by Sherry March: Excellent idea and very nicely done. The graininess bothers me a bit even though I'm sure it is deliberate to enhance the nightmarish mood. I might have tried a soft focus instead but this is still a super entry and one of my top 5 |

The Shadowby thelselComment by adine: captures that feeling of being awake in the darkness and seeing a spooky shadow - scary. The grainyness mimics the limits of our vision in the dark, adds to the uncertainty that causes the fear. I like the diagonal light over the face, dramatic. |

The Shadowby thelselComment by Firstrich1: One of favorites this challenge. the shadow crossing the face, his very spooked expression and the noise you used to finish the shot makes this work for me. Good Job 9 |

The Shadowby thelselComment by backslash: Nice image. I like the graininess and the way the shadow falls across his face. His eyes tell the story. |

The Shadowby thelselComment by pcody: The grain is a little over done, but could really be nice if toned down a bit. The major thing that might be improved is if I could see more of his other eye. Just a little less contrast, and it'd show up enough to balance out his face. |

The Shadowby thelselComment by ursula: I like it! The graininess works well here, the b/w is good, and the boy's expression excellent. Good work! ~10 |
