This is a great capture of family intimacy. Close crop is nice. One thing that could have made it even better is if the daughter's expression looked a little happier. This expression make her look a little like she's had one too many pictures taken. Great shot that resonates with me because we have a 7 year old daughter and do the same every night... of course I didn't think to capture it on film, so great work!

I see you used Photoshop Elements to do the Post-Processing on this and offer a couple things that would have really helped this. To correct some of the washed-out look and general lack of contrast, a simple Auto-Level adjustment could have been done, then edit, fade auto-level adjustment to about 75%. Another thing that is hurting this is the image compression, causing a lot of compression artifacts / blotchy sections. When saving the image for a challenge, use the Save for Web method and use the full 150Kb available for the challenges. That method will remove all the non-image data from the file and bring the quality way up.
