The eyes seem a little over-processed to me, but a lovely photo nonetheless.

Comment by Paul:
This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Lovely natural POV given her cross-legged-on-the-floor position.

2. Standout tones.

3. Nailed focus and a DOF that suits the subject.

4. Engaging smile and eye contact.

I do wish the eyes were taken back just a little - the look slightly over-brightened, but nonetheless I really enjoy this image.

Comment by CanonShooter:
It's a good photo, but not a very good example of leading lines. The lines of the boards don't lead the eye to anything. The girl's arm and leg combine to kind of form a leading line, but don't really work. The eye is automatically drawn to her face without being led there by the arm and leg.
