It may seem ridiculous but this made me think of 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa'. But even apart from that print there is something about this photo that meshes with Japanese prints. It's not only the swirls, but the colours, the semi-abstractness .. the flavour.

thanks everyone for the great comments. by the way: what is this jap print?

about the image ..this is my wife modeling for me. actually I waited and waited for the right moment, at first she didn't cooperate and after a few promises she agreed.
(i promised to help her cleaning the house..:) and did some kitchen work..
