Blue Columbineby dandavisComment by jomari: So, in a national park, this must be a wildflower? It is very lovely, the colours are beautiful. I have pink columbines growing in my garden, but they are not nearly as pretty. They seed freely and come up again and again, and spread themselves around a bit, so I can see that, growing wild in a happy environment, they would make a spectacular show. |

Carousel Horseby dandavisComment by bvy: Bold -- no cute kid onthe horse or old person reliving his/her youth. Just the horse. So obvious. Love it. |

Sweet Dreamsby dandavisComment by dandavis: Definitely from a distance - probaly at least30-40 yards away. The mother coyote was just out of sight behind a rock to the right (never could get a clear shot of her) and probably wouldn't have taken too kindly to my trying to get close to her pup. It was shot with my 250 mm zoom lens and the cropped from that. Although it's a bit dark, I loved the expresson on the pup's face. Message edited by author 2011-10-03 19:54:22. |

Bull Elk in Velvetby dandavisComment by jomari: Isn't nature's diversity incredible? Imagine having that on your head! It's a lovely photo and shows the texture of the velvet beautifully. |
