Rex by fldaveComment by JuliBoc: It brought out the details nicely and gave it a very nice atmosphere. I really like what you did with the background and border. I just wish that lovely golden color wasn't lost. I think this makes him look a bit dirty -- at least compared with the original. |

Rex by fldaveComment by Yo_Spiff: This definitely did the trick in overcoming the overly bright highlights of the original. I would not have identified this as Topaz if I didn't know. |

The Guardianby fldaveComment by PHOTOKID: I really like the processing that you have done in this shot, The detail in the brick of the lighthouse is really cool along with the detail in it makes it look very nice.
The blue in the sky is really deep in tonality. It almost looks to blue. The burning of the clouds you did really sets a mood to the scene. You have a couple pieces of sensor dust in the lower right corner that you should have cloned out. However I really like the overall detail in throughout the clouds and sky. |

And that is the fun of the side challenges, to learn a little, laugh a little, all with no stressing out! I appreciate all the comments and processing notes that all of you have left, too! |

Ponce TA.by fldaveComment by JuliBoc: Amazing that all this texture and detail could be brought out of that seemingly flat original. And I don't think it is too much. |

Ponce TA.by fldaveComment by sfalice: interesting. Before I read the other comments, I said "you know, this is one of those times when I like the original better..." So you've given a good example here, even if it might not be the one you hoped to give.

Car Wash 2by fldaveComment by SaraR: Very cool - both the girls, and the processing! I would have had a whale of a time doing something mad like this when I was young! |
