I like the dynamics of the blue light highlighting the subject...it likely took a bit of adjusting to get the subject to show up more clearly which may lend itself to the "looks overprocessed" comment???

Nice colors. Very bold and powerful. The DOF may be too narrow here to make all of the drop be in focus.
