This would have been fantastic shot if it were not for the objects in the background that appear to protude from your wifes face. Very distracting to me. All other aspects were good, lighting, DOF, Composition etc.

Quite a few people seem to have similar ideas... but yours has a quality all its own. I think you captured the mood very well...your model's expression is perfect. I also like that the one model's tatoo actually balances the photo. I even like that one of the model's fingers is a bit dirty...just perfect! Your use of DOF is dead on for this image. Good luck!
