These are wonderful!!! What a great feeling they emit.. definitely springlike! I particuarly like the soft focus in the background opposing the sharp detail in the foreground. Beautiful flowers bathed in all that fabulous bright light. I'll take snowdrops over snow anyday! ;-)

You composition just makes the shot, with light on one side and dark on the other, with the birds in between for a nice transition.

The eyes are gorgeous! You know you could actually add some light to her face with a few photoshop filters or change the lighting in portrait professional. This is still very lovely though!

Even with the limitations you describe you have acheived a pretty nice portrait. The details are clear and her eyes are beautifully focused. I love the backlighting through her hair.
