You composition just makes the shot, with light on one side and dark on the other, with the birds in between for a nice transition.

The eyes are gorgeous! You know you could actually add some light to her face with a few photoshop filters or change the lighting in portrait professional. This is still very lovely though!

Even with the limitations you describe you have acheived a pretty nice portrait. The details are clear and her eyes are beautifully focused. I love the backlighting through her hair.

hmmm...I would have to agree that a lower angle and a more up close of the flowers with the background "blown out" would do your picture more justice...what a beautiful spot....but...to me this lacks "calendar" material...sorry...you have such good composition...this just lacks that...
