I like how he's looking off... the light seemed harsh to me at first, but now I've grown to love it.

I really like how she pops out from the ice. The use of colour on a neutral background is great. I would have changed a few things, such as the position of her within the frame (a little less centered would be good) also her eyes are quite hidden by the hat and by her squint, a better focus on them would have given this a bit more impact.

I think the composition is a bit narrow you could less crop and it would look a lot better i feel or maybe a close up shot of that lovely smile.
