The main problem I see here with regards to voters is the apples condition, I think that will hurt your score as much as anything.

If the flaws on the apples were less visible, I think this would score more highly. Also, a bit more focus so the first apple I come to (the one in the center bottom) is in focus at it's bottom...

I don't see any work unfortunately it looks like you are shielding your eyes from the sun, I kind of get that you are a photographer but looking at the image without the title doesn't represent the challenge at all.

The whole thing seems soft on detail and slightly OOF, I'm afraid. The idea itself is low on creativity, I think we've all done one of these. I know I have, and it got only one comment from my daughter telling me what a geek I am. I think the biggest thing that might help this is to do something to bring out the detail and texture of that sand or soil. (See, I can't even tell what it is.)
