Thanks for the comments, everyone. I got to get some more done...it's just been so danged cold.

JD...Nope no filters. I have not gotten around to buying any for the any of the lenses (Though I do have some that fit Simga 50MM Macro lens.) I think the color was a combo of it being late afternoon light, near sunset but not quite, combined with the post processing.

Robert, are you using a polarizing filter with your camera? I can't seem to get this quality of blue naturally out of my camera without a filter using the D70.

I really like this image. The colors work well, the tilt works well, I love the shadow and the sharpness. There are great patterns involved, it looks like a puzzle waiting to happen.
