Very harsh indeed. I would have prefered to seen more B/W contrast looks a bit flat to me.

I kinda like this abstract composition. However, it looks like a large aperture was used since the writing on the cup (or bowl) at the bottem right of the image does not appear to be within the depth-of-field.
