I think doing either HDR or pseudo-HDR would have helped you to keep from losing detail in the highlights.

This is a beautiful photo of flowers and I love the lovely textures that are represented both in the petals, leaves, and wall texture. Its like I could reach through the screen and feel it myself.
However, it is extremely difficult to spot all 7 flowers, which is a bit of a downer since that is the main point of this challenge. Maybe a slightly higher angle would have made the back flowers more obvious. 6
