Hello, I have made it a point for this challenge to comment on every photo that I scored under a 4.

I scored this photo a 3 for the following reason(s):

There's only one real reason, and that is that the hue shift to purple in this case seems incredibly tacked on and without any sense of why it was added to the image in the first place. You have some blown highlights as well, but that's usually only a small nitpick if the photo itself is strong, in this case, it just hightens the fact that the photo is purple for what I consider to be a desperate attempt to enter a challenge.

Wonderful idea and creativity. It would have done better, I think, if the sticky stuff holding the bat didn't show... but I'm sure you've heard that already.

Nice shot, think i would of liked a bit more DOF for this shot, either focused on batter or pitcher, but overall great idea
