Landed Gentryby ImagineerComment by PeterC: I Like the composition and theme but there appears to be a yellow hue especially noticable on the blue of the sky |

Landed Gentryby ImagineerComment by brockangelo: interesting composition...texture is pretty good too...looks like you warmed it up in the studio....I like the warm quite a bit...almost a technicolor sky...interesting |

Landed Gentryby ImagineerComment by ShutterPug: while I really like the idea here - the sky seems an unnatural color - it has a funny green tint. I would have liked to see a bit more of the tree at the top. |

Landed Gentryby ImagineerComment by shadow: the tones on the trunk and the hill in the backgroundis pleasing and fits the mood. the textture on the tree and the shape of the roots are very interesting and captures my attention. however, the weird sky colour is highly distracting. a softer shade of blue (not cyan) would have made me give you a higher score. anyway, overall a nice shot. |

Landed Gentryby ImagineerComment by savannahjames: This tree looks like the perfect spot to spend an afternoon reading. Gorgeous all around. The only thing I'm not sure of is the sky color - it seems to point out the somewhat harsh lighting. But overall I think it adds a sort of fantasy touch to the whole shot, and I love it. :o) Great shot! |

I agree with skiprow, it stuck in my mind long afterwards too. |
