I love the composition, the lighting and the mood of the image, but IMO it could have used a bump in contrast to get a bit more density in the blacks. Nice work, 7.

As I look upon this B&W photo it paints a picture of a dark and lonely night. Far off in the distance on this empty street we can make out a lone figure which is what adds to that feel of a dark and lonely night. My only critique is that the figure could be a bit more prominent in the scene for he/she is almost too far way and almost get swallowed up in the environment (if that was at all possible for the figure may have been a total stranger which you would not want to have an encounter with on an unpopulated street). Hmmm, just an added interest I can hear the tune of "Sister Moon" by Sting playing in my head as I look at this image.
