i dont exactly know wot makes something arty, but this has the look ..
its not a pretty pic .. in fact quite the opposite .. it creates questions which is usually a good thing ..

i've been looking at this image for a while and i hope you wont be offended if i tell you that to me she looks dead .. lying on a slab in the morgue .. i'm not trying to be offensive .. you've presented me with an image that is confrontational in its imagery and i'm just telling you how it affects me .. :):)
i do love the b&w conversion, the grungy type overlay and the unusual-ness of this image .. its definitely something different .. :)

Terrific photograph. I love it. I nearly always like portraits without eyes anyway, so the fabulous hair just makes it even better.

The framing makes this shot work as much as the blur and the expression. All those legs and feet around the perimeter add to the fright.
