Not sure how I feel about that - my gut says that's changing the image too much from reality - because in reality they are faded a bit relative to her hair, for example. If they are much blacker then I think we start hitting a cartoon-effect because everything is at the same saturation. Also, the focus should be on her face, the tatt's are secondary.

I like this Steve but I would up the black tones more to make it really a high contrast shot (if possible) but again, that is MY taste. Many images that I love will get comments "too dark," so don't listen to me. LOL

also its a cross between grungy out-there, coz of the tatts, and the 'sweet' process and colours .. i'd be giving this photograph a major grungy process .. !! ..
but wot i like about this image is that i can make up all different scenarios for why she's positioned like that .. also very cat-like .. love how she's coming at me but not looking directly at me, altho that would work too .. its like something's caught her attention out'v my sight ..

I like how she fills the frame. Something about the position of her eyes looks almost like a candid - does that make sense? I'd rather she be looking strongly at the camera. This shot, with the tattoos, might be really cool in a stark contrasting black and white.
