This is different, good different. It's sort of like a sunset and moonlight shot rolled into one image.
Check the WB in your camera? It may be set to tungsten. In any case, this is a very catchy looking scene. I think that you have posted a shot of this place a while back. Purply is a fitting word for the effect. LOL : )

I would like to see this cropped to just include the shooter and his top half and the ball. That is an amazing shot. Don't be afraid to crop :)
