Busy Bee'sby JulietNNComment by Refocused: I really like how the light illuminates the cactus flower. Great detail. I was so impressed by the flower I didn’t see the bees until I read your title! Nice addition to an already excellent shot. |

Bird on a Branch = branchout + TreeLeafby JulietNNComment by JulietNN: And efaulk We are not picking on you, or on our comments. It is a valid comment and one I can agree on in terms of DPC.
Please do not think you are being singled out, as we talk about this photo.
There is DPC photos, then there is, I am so over it, this makes me smile and makes me happy for my own reasons photo that meets the challenge. That is where I am right now. |

Bird on a Branch = branchout + TreeLeafby JulietNNComment by JulietNN: lol tnun
I like my clutter/ excessive top part, as I said it reminds me of exotic expensive wallpaper. For DPC, yes, a crop would probably be great idea, but I personally loved the top half, as to me, it brought it al together. But I like my tunnel of darkness, I pied to no one, but myself. Probably why, all my recent photos are 5-. I like what I have done. And I am at the point that , if it makes me happy or evokes a nice feeling, then it is good enough for me. Not DPC. |

Bird on a Branch = branchout + TreeLeafby JulietNNComment by JulietNN: I love the clutter too, I can see where they are coming from as it seems you have to scroll down to see the bird, but when seen as a whole picture, it is very pretty. It reminded me of an expensive wall paper.
But yes, the crop would have helped for DPC

My Cactusby JulietNNComment by JulietNN: Originally posted by bsluijk: One of my top images, but I kept wondering a while about the right hand background dots. |
Those are grown up needle pads. If you look on green bits, underneath them you can see the little furry brown patches, those are the babies. here is the plant as a whole.
