It's a non-traditional glamour portrait, to be sure, but one that definitely captures the beauty of its subject in a setting where the traditional trappings of glamour (i.e., jewelry, makeup, dress attire, etc.) are all clearly present. I love the smile--and the fact that the presence of braces on the subject's teeth are actually genuinely flattering because of how you've framed the shot.

Thank you for the comment. That is a Chinese spear (qiang). The movement is generated from the ground and through the hips, shoulders and hands to the spear itself. Hence the rotation around a fixed axle - my body. The gopro was fixed to the tip of the spear.

Congrats on a well-earned Red here. A top pick for me. I wanted to comment on this in voting, but then as now I struggle to articulate what about this is so effective for me. All I know is it registers as exotic, emotionally evocative, and just plain artistically compelling--something greater than the sum of its component images.
