memories of futureby TiberiusComment by Garry: Just and extraordinary capture! A beautiful slice of life. With the mix of gorgeous processing and the intimate capture of daily life, this absolutely screams odriew to me. Well done! Top score for the challenge!
ETA: finished voting and this is the clear winner. Top score of 9. |

memories of futureby TiberiusComment by odriew: This is probably not something I would have shot but the bold and interesting perspective and composition is in the spirit of the challenge. I think this really captures the essence of the idealism of young love. And the heart silhouette in the background is quite serendipitous. 7 |

memories of futureby TiberiusComment by tate: Love the provocative in-your-face angle and almost uncomfortably close candid. Certainly a strong image with the feel of an odriew. |

memories of futureby TiberiusComment by mariuca: If this is not Jedi himself, it better be. It reminds me of a little story about Picasso's portrait of Gertrude Stein. When someone commented that Stein did not look like her portrait, Picasso replied: "she will". And she did!

memories of futureby TiberiusComment by RyanW: i love the looks here - the girl looks actuely interested in what the guy is thinking, trying to read him, genuinely concerned with what he has to say, and he has a look on his face that speaks of carefree afternoons spent just laying about, not contemplating whatever it is that the girl wants him to be contemplating.
for the style of odreiw specifically, the image is off balance with muted tones, drawing you to the faces of your human subjects, but with the legs raised in a defense manner telling you to stay back and not be drawn in, so you did a good job in the dichotomy that i find in his images - the push/pull and seeming intentional unbalancing of the viewer.
i'm giving this a 10 |
