My Other Digital Cameraby AmphianComment by Amphian: I guess the tags from the boards don't work in comments. Those links are //www.digitaldreamco.com/index.shtml for Digital Dream and //homepage.mac.com/amphian for my website. |

My Other Digital Cameraby AmphianComment by Amphian: The camera is real, although the viewfinder is almost completely useless. It takes 20 high resolution (352 x 288) or 80 low resolution (174 x 142) photos, or movies (without sound) of about 4 seconds (high resolution) or 8 seconds (low resolution). It connects to the computer via a USB cable, and you can either download through the software provided or a Photoshop plug-in, which also works in Elements. It can be used as a web cam on Macs, but I donât think that feature works on Windows. It has 2MB of internal memory and runs on a AAA battery or power from the USB cable. My British father bought it for â40 quidâ, which would be about $65 for those of us in the US. The company that makes is it is Digital Dream. Some unedited pictures from the camera are on my website. |

My Other Digital Cameraby AmphianComment by Amphian: Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. The photo does look a bit dark on Windows. I spent about an hour trying to get rid of the hot spot on the upper left part of the camera without making the rest of photo even darker. The surface is the top of a small stand that I pulled away from the wall. I stuck a piece of black matt board against the wall behind the stand and clipped a 60 watt clip light to the front of the stand, on the left side of the photo. I didn't have a light of the right intensity to light the side of the camera, so I held a hand mirror to reflect light as I took the photo. |

My Other Digital Cameraby AmphianComment by Reuben: Excellent lighting. Great job emphasizing size. This photo really messes with my mind. I look at the camera, then I look at the key, and, without fail, I've overestimated the size of the camera in my mind. |
