Great image, what a cutie you were! And yes, I checked out Sandy's image you refer to and the resemblance really is uncanny :-)
As for the boogers on the image, no matter how clean I seem to think my scanner is and how unscratched I think my photo is, I get some too. Annoying, but I just clone them into oblivion :-)

Our squirrels aren't too annoying thankfully, I was watching some birds the other week when I heard a thud, I looked round and a squirrel had fallen out of a tree!! He got up, shook himself off and then crept off into the undergrowth obviously embarrassed!!

Funny cause I adore our squirrels. They aren't nearly as annoying as yours. They just dig up my pansies but they've pretty much stopped that now that they are settled and the soil is kind of hard. We can grow them during the winter here since they can take a light freeze or two.

I like the mix of all the tangled tree limbs in combination with that twitching tail. :~)

Jess, WOW! Your little girl face coulD BE the face of "my" little girl. You didn't give up any babies for adoption about 4 or 5 years ago did you :) Just kidding -- but it is an UNCANNY resemblance, isn't it. And the little girl is still so vivid in my mind -- it is not just a "picture" that looks like you did. She really DID look like you!

I wish I could find her again. We are getting ready to do another Farmers Market in the spring. Maybe her and her grandparents will be back. I think I'll have a print of this ready to give them, and maybe show her your picture too. They would probably be amazed too.

P.S. And THANK YOU for such a nice compliment! That means so much to me!

I like still lifes. I might be further down looking "at " it and not over it. Also, maybe not quite so centered. The focus and vignette are great. I adore coffee cups too. I have mugs and got some great ones for Christmas.
