I can't stand the squirrels in the neighborhood! They antagonize the dogs and eat all the stuffing out of the neighbors' lawn furniture. What's worse, Petey always seems to catch them, but then has no idea what to do with them so he lets them go.

I live in the desert (nearly) and miss tree squirrels! I've seen a couple of ground squirrels around, but they are pretty scarce with all the nasty wild dogs running free in the neighborhhod (the wild dogs kill cats too, so I'm not so very fond of them). Sorry to hear the squirrels are annoying where you are, you can ship a few here :-) Cute image, BTW!

Our squirrels aren't too annoying thankfully, I was watching some birds the other week when I heard a thud, I looked round and a squirrel had fallen out of a tree!! He got up, shook himself off and then crept off into the undergrowth obviously embarrassed!!

Funny cause I adore our squirrels. They aren't nearly as annoying as yours. They just dig up my pansies but they've pretty much stopped that now that they are settled and the soil is kind of hard. We can grow them during the winter here since they can take a light freeze or two.

I like the mix of all the tangled tree limbs in combination with that twitching tail. :~)
