I like this one more. I also agree with your thoughts on the editing. What you have here is definitely more fitting than minimal!
I submitted one for the 'over' challenge, but in the authors notes I put in a "how it should have been" link.

I'm trying to figure out if it'd've looked better with the butterfly in focus and can't figure it out. It certainly adds depth this way. I like it. And I don't like cats one bit!

Wow - that's good. I've tried catching them and they are light lightening. The DOF is outstanding. You should have saved this for the next FS.
