Very, very cute. I love the expression of the turtle. Your subjects have great personality. My only wish is that it had either a solid black background or a solid white one, or even better a nice brightly colored background. This one just seems kind of haphazardly gray and distractingly textured.

This is great - the snail and the turtle... good colors and focus. I think the image would hugely benefit from a much tighter crop.

This is great, Lydia. I had something like this with a beautiful white goose -- but I pulled it in the end because I didn't think it was strong enough. But I sure love the effect of this technique. Great job!
