If you were really dedicated, you would have launched him over a real building with some sort of slingshot or trebuchet. ;-)

Shoulda scored higher though. I think you did a fine job. Whatcanyado. :)

Creative. I was hoping that with all the fretting about not having access to a sunset or sunrise, that someone would invent one. Good job.

Whew, Eric!

I didn't see that you edited... I just copied from the email sent to me. *sorry*

I really DO like hearing comments like yours. They're much better, although harder to take *grin*, than the "I love it" ones. *smile*

I didn't mean that you were decieving anyone..which is why I took out the part from the rules before you responded. I could tell that is probably what you would have thought.

I just giving my opinion. I really liked the idea...when I thought it was in the moment.

I still like it...just less. :)

I am not mad...just offering my opinion because I really learn alot when people give me their advice...I try to do the same.

"'include existing images or artwork as part of your composition as long as the entry does not appear to consist entirely of a pre-existing photograph in order to circumvent date or editing rules or fool the voters into thinking you actually captured the original photograph.'

I don't want to be cruel or anything...but I probably wouldn't have voted this as high as I did...if I had known it was a photograph of a photograph. "

I really can appreciate where you're coming from here, Eric. And I also appreciate your honesty.

However, I took both images during the challenge period and the image does not consist entirely of a pre-existing photograph. In my opinion, the image is about a toast with a glass of wine which was not in the original image. Taking the photograph this way was certainly not to circumvent date or editing rules or to fool the voters into thinking I captured the original photograph, because I captured the original photograph within the 48-hour challenge period also.

I am sorry you voted on the image as you thought it was... but really, it did seem obvious to me that the DOF was 'off' on the merged photo... making it clear that 'something' was going on. The wine glass is sharp, the foreground folks are OOF and then the background folks are back in focus again.

Please don't judge me harshly... I truly did not mean to deceive the voters. Indeed, I don't think I did deceive them. But, I AM sorry you're disappointed about your vote.

THANKS for telling me. I do like to know things like this.

BTW, I thought your baby with the 'pinch-sized' sugar spoon was adorable!
