Lydia! At first I was smiling, like always, at your adorable frog pictures, then I wanted to cry as I read about your loss of your dad. I am so sorry! I saw your picture on Facebook, but I didn't realize that your loss was so fresh! I'm so thankful that you are the kind of daughter you are (and so not surprised), and that your relationship was filled with so much love.

I've lost both of my parents, so I understand your hurt very well. I loved what you said about "his body dying". What a testament to your faith that the soul lives on, and you will be reunited again one day!

I'm sitting at my desk crying right now after reading your note. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I can tell from the photo of you and your dad that you were very close, and had a wonderful relationship! Congratulations on your ribbon and you are right, your dad would be so proud!
