"Oh, thanks! ... I LOVE cheese..." by LydiaComment by Quigley: Lydia, first off let me say congratulations on two fronts, first for the ribbon and second for being honest in your use of the dead mouse.
Your efforts to get the shot are well within the boundaries of what I consider to be humane, you did not kill the poor thing you found it dead already and I for one have seen plenty of dead animal shots on this site and they looked dead not like this one. You could have said nothing at all and just let everyone think you had a well trained mouse on your hands.
I for one would be shocked to find out that after you were finished with your little mouse that you didn't give it a proper burial, you did give her a proper burial right?
Great job with your photograph, no matter what we do with our images we will never please everyone but as long as we please ourselves, that's what it's about.

"Oh, thanks! ... I LOVE cheese..." by LydiaComment by ericwoo: Funny how a dead, pesky, disease ridden rodent can stir up such an argument. Nothing surprises me here anymore, though. For the record, I am much worse than Lydia. I kill these little bastards every chance I get. Anyway, awesome shot there Lydia. Wonderfully creative and the story still has me chuckling. Congrats on the ribbon!! |
