i personally prefer more emphasis on the three aspect.. to me this kinda looks like someone said "hey, there's three stars in this, I can submit it" instead of "okay, my topic is threes, what can I do for that?" still a great shot, *fantastic* angles on this one

Serendipity is a difficult concept to visualize. For me it means being at the right place, at the right time, and being lucky enough to capture something unique. Some of these entries are set up shots trying to illustrate that concept, and some record a serendipitous moment experienced by the photographer themselves. This is a particularly good example of the latter. It succeeds compositionally and this bird lends an appealing awkwardness.
