Too much flash, you should try diffusing it some when taking pictures of pets. Their eyes reflect that light and it makes them look weird.

Very good detail, and the title fits well. :) This frame-filling photo is almost TOO close in IMO and I think you lose something in not seeing the ears. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice and bold. How the heck do you get a fly to pose long enough for this? The lines are there, but I'm not sure they are leading me to the subject, as much as dividing the frame.

great take on the original, I love the action of the water droplets and the nice clean background, the only thing is I wish there were more light on the flower, nice sharp focus, I love that I can almost feel how silky the petals are, great job overall
