This really works for me. I'm not a hard sell on painterly treatments of subjects like these. But I do find myself a bit distracted by the fragments of foliage on the upper left and lower right portions of the frame. The clouds and water would feel a bit more balanced (to my eye) with those cloned out. But otherwise, the emotional impact is superior.
